CACI International Senior Business Development Manager, EW and Wireless Networks in Herndon, Virginia
CACI International has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to provide Business Development Leadership and Account Management for our growing Wireless Solutions LGS Lab business specifically with Electronic Warfare and Wireless Networks. The manager of Business Development is involved in the development and execution of an overall growth strategy, pipeline generation, and new business awards targeted at growing DoD and Federal customers. Primary focus will be on the identification, development, qualification, and capture of large, strategic opportunities, valued at over $100M each, while building and maintaining a qualified pipeline of >$75M in annual opportunities.The CACI Senior Business Development Manager will:
Be responsible for winning new business associated with Intel, DoD, and Federal customers focused on RF/SIGINT (Passive & Active) and Wireless/Network.
Have a strong network of customer contacts and must be familiar with the AF & another DoD customer's major programs and upcoming initiatives.
Develop comprehensive account plans; identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and continually progress a pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities aligned with the RF/SIGINT and Network market.
Collaborate with partner companies, other CACI Sectors and within CACI LGS Lab Sector staff to develop winning teaming strategies, support competitive analysis, develop prices analysis, and bid winning solutions.
Develop reports, briefings, and other management materials to support Executive Management decision making.
Brief pursuit Milestone Reviews and IPRs to Sector Executive Leadership and other CACI Senior Executive Management Team members.
Work with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs.
Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of sector business growth goals and objectives.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of IC, DoD, or Federal experience, with at least 5+ years of business development in the Operations Support and Services market.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency with Intelligence and Department of Defense strategy and acquisition plans.
Knowledge of the DoD budget preparation and execution process.
Demonstrated ability to execute the business development function with minimum supervision.
Effective leader/participant in formal presentations to clients and potential teaming partners; proven track record of building winning teams as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation.
Detailed insight into DoD current and future programs is strongly desired.
Formal training in the Shipley capture process is strongly desired.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Current TS/SCI is desired.
Proven passion for and ability to develop and win work.
