CACI International Senior Counterterrorism All-Source Analyst in Herndon, Virginia

We have a Senior Counterterrorism All-Source Analyst to support DIA’s Defense Counterterrorism Center (DCTC) mission. You can make a difference; join our team.

The position will primarily be based in Reston VA, but could also include work at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington DC and other facilities in the NCR to include the Pentagon and McLean VA. The work could also include in-theater deployments for up to 180 days

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide substantive expertise, covering all facets of counterterrorism (CT) analysis

  • Research and analysis of data

  • Produce finished intelligence in line with DIA writing standards and templates

  • Populate various databases

  • Intelligence production tasking

  • Content management

  • Disseminate a broad array of intelligence products dealing with terrorist personalities, facilities, activities, and resources

  • Intelligence systems training activities

  • Supervise intelligence analysts performing network and target analysis for senior decision makers

  • Provide tradecraft mentoring and oversight to analytic team

  • Lead interagency collaboration and target development efforts

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree with 8+ years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training and 10+ years intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience.

  • Credentialed subject matter expert or recognized specialist in relevant field

  • Ability to work independently with minimal Government oversight

  • Ability to produce thorough and completed products that only require minor revisions and/or editing

  • Ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain polygraph

  • Experience with network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook or Palantir

  • Background in all-source intelligence production including SIGINT and HUMINT

  • Ability to lead interagency collaboration and target development coordination efforts

  • Ability to brief senior executives

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced degree (preferred to be in area of expertise relevant to counterterrorism)

  • 12 or more total years of recent experience in all-source analysis

  • Prior experience at DCTC

  • Expertise with ISIS, Al Qaeda, or other transnational terrorism issues

  • Expertise in Iranian CT, Yemen CT, or Shia and Sunni issues

  • Deployed experience in CENTCOM AOR

  • Experience with DIA product lines (DID, DI-Short, DI-Long etc.)

  • Experience with PROTON, TargetCOP, and/or Voltron tool suite

  • Experience with biometric intelligence tools

  • Experience with TIDE, QLIX, B2IR
