CACI International Systems Administrator in Herndon, Virginia
Seeking a highly skilled system administrator with experience as a Lotus (IBM) Domino Administrator. Position requires considerable knowledge of operating systems, organizations operating environment, network requirements, and ability to anticipate impact on respective operating systems to include: Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and MS Project, various utility applications. Position requires considerable knowledge of the organizational standards for operating configurations, security constraints, and procedures for managing organization software.
Experience with AWS or similar Cloud based systems is desired. Position requires application deployment support on COTS including Custom Applications, Cloud and physical based, and/or Open Source services. Must possess ingenuity and tenacity to resolve complex problems through personal knowledge or research into the latest technological developments to identify impact on organization operating systems and to anticipate changes.
Responsibilities include but are limited to:
Cradle to grave administration of Windows server operating system, IBM Notes, and IBM Domino systems software and the successful integration within and across enterprise environment
Management of software life-cycles
Provide technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment
Serve as technical referent on Engineering Review Boards considering all additions to, or changes to, the operating environment. Participate in various design reviews.
Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 providing guidance and technical assistance as needed
Troubleshoot problems that may involve applications and the network
Coordinate between multiple client branches, functions, and enterprise services
Collaboration with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning
• IBM Lotus Certified Admin (Notes Domino 8 or 9)
• IBM Lotus Certified Developer
• MS Windows Server
• MS Networking Essentials
• Linux System Administrator Full Performance
• IT Service Management Past experience interfacing with all GCS components
Candidate must have one of the following:
• 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
• 10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
• 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
• 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
• 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
• Working knowledge of project management techniques to plan and execute projects
• AWS Certification
• Experience in Agile environments
• ITIL Foundations
• Basic Linux administration
• Knowledge of database systems
