CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. Be a part of something greater than yourself and make a lasting impact at CACI.What You’ll Get to Do:CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer and Administer who will provide Linux engineering, software integration, and Tier 3 administration support in the context of an automated, cloud provisioning environment.Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Performing systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server environments (e.g., Linux, Red Hat, and CentOS)

  • Providing technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools

  • Analyzing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities

  • Preparing required documentation, including program-level and user level documentation

  • Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures

  • Performing technical evaluations and analysis

  • Assisting in server maintenance and special project during extended work hours

  • Attending Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss and agree upon MOAs, ensuring MOA is within scope of supporting the teams’ work

  • Supporting the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline

  • Assessing server loads and working with technical leads on developing tuning recommendations

  • Additional duties, as assigned

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Linux engineering experience in Red Hat, CentOS, and variants

  • Mid-level or greater developments skills in Python and Ruby

  • Proficiency in manipulating the Linux command-line

Education & Experience Required:

  • 12 Years of job-related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 10 Years of job-related experience and Associates degree

  • 8 Years of job-related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 Years of job-related experience and Master’s degree

  • 4 Years of job-related experience and Doctorate

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with the following languages:

  • Python

  • Ruby

  • Bash

  • PHP

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests, and Foreman)

  • Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS

  • Experience with CaaS (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift)

  • Experience with LAMP

Desired Certifications:

  • Splunk Core Certified User

  • MCSA: SQL Server Administration (current version)

  • AWS or ability to obtain within 60 days after start
