What You’ll Get to Do:CACI is searching for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to serve as a Systems Engineer on a NSA Type 1 Certified communications program which includes the product development, fielding and sustainment of associated technologies. The Systems Engineer is responsible for:
Interacting with others to develop and design an integrated system.
Installation of integrated systems that include hardware and software.
Assisting in the application software and system management tools.
More About the Role:
Develops the Software/Hardware Requirements Specification (SHRS).
Creates the Software Development Process Description Document (SDPDD).
Performs system engineering activities IAW the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
Supports the risk management framework including associated documentation.
Develops and maintains Engineering Database and Configuration Management Information (EDCMI).
Documents Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Supports manufacturing readiness assessments.
Develops system documentation to include, detailed design documents, technical manuals, end user operations and sustainment manuals and procedures.
Coordinates detailed parts lists with supply chain.
Creates detailed test plans and participates in the development, integration, system, and operational testing of components and systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Education: Engineering, Computer Science, Systems or Business; 2 yrs of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
2 years work experience as a systems engineer or other relevant work categories is required.
Expertise in the NSA certification process is highly desired.
Experience working with Operating System developers is highly desired.
Systems Engineering experience on Full Product Lifecycle management is highly desired.
Active Secret Clearance or Ability to obtain
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Engineering experience on an Army contract is desired.
Engineering control experience on a tactical communication program is desired.
Engineering experience on a software development program is desired.
