CACI International Tools Developer - Senior - TS/SCI w/ Poly in Herndon, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is seeking a motivated Tools Developer to support a team that is developing, accrediting, and transitioning a cloud-based production system at the nexus of CI/CT support for a mission critical government customer.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Serves as subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of tools development

  • In conjunction with the government, iteratively analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine overall design

  • Developing new web applications using Domino, SharePoint, Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, Jekyll, Markdown, GitHUB and evolving/emerging web-developing tools including federal shared services and open source options

  • Gathering design and system requirements, testing functionality, resolving anomalies, as well as researching and implementing new features for all supported internal and external websites.

  • Attending design review meetings on behalf of management; providing status reports to senior management, and liaison with Government and other IC representatives as required.

  • designing new and attractive concepts with logical navigation, responsive design and incorporating federal requirements band best practices for usability, security, accessibility and open data.

  • Gathering design and system requirements, testing functionality, resolving anomalies, as well as researching and implementing new features for all supported internal and external websites.

  • Attending design review meetings on behalf of management and providing status reports to senior management.

  • Assesses requirements to integrate tools into the customer cloud environment

  • Coordinates between project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineered efforts

  • Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required production-ready application

  • Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation

  • Provide enhancements to reduce operating time or improve efficiency

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI With Poly Clearance is required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science w/ 4-6 years experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AWS technologies

  • Ability to iterate and deliver quickly

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals/audiences

  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and user engagement

  • Ability to think abstractly

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines
