CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking an outstanding Web Developer who will code and conduct innovative design and the layout of several web pages. As a Web Developer, you will be a part of a small team of talented individuals for a cloud computing services program and will build websites from concept to completion. You will also, conduct maintenance from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

More About the Role:
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Managing websites, including design, develop, and deploy
Maintaining activities and performing testing and quality assurance (QA) of web sites and web applications
Maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites
Creating website layouts and user interface by utilizing standard technologies and practices
Writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code by utilizing best software development practices
Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Creating and maintaining software documentation
Staying cognizant of emerging technologies and industry trends, and applying them into operations and activities
Cooperating with project managers to match visual design and messaging intent, themes, etc. across multiple webpages
Performing maintenance on existing software products and contributing knowledge of business applications
Developing and directing software systems testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
Conferring with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design websites
Correcting errors by making appropriate changes and then, rechecking the program to ensure the desired results are produced
Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to ensure they will produce the desired information and the instructions are correct
Compiling and writing documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, and inserting comments in the coded instructions, so others can understand the program
Writing, updating, and maintaining computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as tracking threat indicators and storing or retrieving data
Consulting with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
Performing or directing revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
Writing or contributing to instructions or manuals to guide end users
Resolving customer complaints with the software and responding to suggestions for enhancements
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph (current)
BA/BS Degree and Seven (7) or more years of related work experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Advanced skills in developing modern web applications inclusive of strong security awareness and development best practices
Experience with deploying and maintaining websites with a focus on security compliance and user experience
Working knowledge of modern coding practices including development methodologies, test driven development, continuous integration, and proper code documentation
Proven expertise in developing within a cloud computing environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with Angular or React web development framework
Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience in full lifecycle application development
Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages
Development experience with some of the following languages or middleware:
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, object oriented programming, and web application development in support of dynamic and secure webpages
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
