CACI is seeking an experienced Project Manager f or a mid-sized program within CACI’s Aerospace Solutions Group at Hill AFB, Layton Utah, just south of the city of Ogden You will need to quickly accept responsibility for the scope, schedule, and cost for one or more multi-faceted projects focused on aerospace electronics and electro-mechanical systems development, production and sustainment. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Leads multiple projects on a multi million-dollar IDIQ program

  • Addresses daily challenges that arise from operating in a highly matrixed, partially virtual organization. Challenges faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact multiple areas of the organization.

  • Engages with multiple customer organizations on a daily and weekly basis

  • Hosts customer forums and other meetings in the local CACI office.

  • Conducts briefings to mid-level leaders both within and outside of the program.

  • Responsible for communicating with parties internal and external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors.

  • Works from the CACI San Antonio office, virtually, and from out-of-state customer locations.

  • Follows internal configuration management processes and ensures conformance to the ASG Quality Management System.

  • Directs efforts of cross-competency teams. Directs organizational resources to support multiple concurrent teams of engineers and production technicians.

  • Supports proposal activity related to the program or project, including drafting scope of work, performance work statements, work specifications, schedules nd budgets.

More About the Role:

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of multiple aerospace development and repair support projects to maximize value to both the customer and to the company

  • Communicates plans and execution status with stakeholders, to include technical progress of aerospace mechanical, electrical, and software engineering efforts

  • Represent CACI and program interests dealing with office building management

  • Reports program status to leadership.

  • Manages and oversees subcontractor and team member efforts in support of the contract and assigned projects.

  • Manages acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.

  • Demonstrates strong financial management background, with experience in managing firm fixed price projects

  • Develops schedules and budgets and reports earned value

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • A Secret Clearance must be obtainable (US Citizen)

  • Past affiliation with or in-depth working knowledge of OO-ALC organizations

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Seven or more years of experience in managing multiple functional areas concurrently for businesses providing products and services to DoD organizations, to include functional engineering management, quality programs, configuration management, and security and facilities.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking as required to support a range of recurring responsibilities

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master's Degree in engineering, aerospace, computer science, or other related technical field

  • Defense contractor experience in US DoD Acquisition environment

  • Strong working knowledge of Business Development process within DoD arena

  • Significant, relevant experience with AS-9100-certified programs

  • Best candidates will be proven leaders that are extremely process-oriented and value-focused

  • Proven experience managing in a military depot, air logistics complex or similar military installation
