CACI is looking for a Senior Program Planning and Financial Control Analyst in Houston, TX. This position supports the CACI Program Manager and is a critical member of the Houston leadership team. CACI supports the JSC Engineering Directorate across a broad range of space vehicle systems and software technologies with the highest level of technical skills, financial systems, and cost control processes.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Senior Program Planning and Financial Control Analyst duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in or prepare Government Financial Reports (e.g., NASA 533M) and cost analysis reports

  • Assist the Program Manager in managing the integrated resource planning process across program tasks

  • Participate in rate analysis and advise PM on contract/task pricing

  • Conduct frequent “what if” financial analyses of task and cost performance

  • Assist in developing financial status for customer briefings

  • Participate in proposal preparation (cost and contract requirements)

  • Review and approve vendor invoices, project invoices, and travel reimbursements

  • Prepare and/or review contracts, contract modifications and contract briefs

  • Update and maintain bid title structure

  • Interface with subcontracts to set up new subcontractors

  • Prepare purchase requests for subcontractors

  • Monitor and status small business subcontracting performance

  • Perform other activities as programs evolve and as needs dictate.

This individual will work closely with the Program Manager, the Business Lead, and technical leadership team, must see each teammate as a customer, and possess a great deal of initiative, very strong organizational skills, and be able to manage and balance multiple priorities. This position requires a self-motivated, capable person wanting to work in a very team-oriented, friendly, but demanding environment. The ideal individual should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong customer relationship skills. Above all, the individual will have a positive, can-do attitude, be flexible, and be willing to take on new assignments and responsibilities as they arise.

This work takes place at NASA/JSC in Houston, TX, a highly stimulating and dynamic environment that is critical in human space flight and the space exploration initiative.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for access to USG Facilities.

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related degree.

  • Must have strong financial background, with a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) solid years of experience in financial analysis and contract administration.

  • Must have a basic understanding of cost structures (preferably in government contracting environment).

  • Knowledge of the NASA 533 format is highly desired.

  • Must have advanced MS Excel skills with ability to use advance functions and capabilities.

  • Must have strong PC skills with the ability to use Word and PowerPoint features.

  • Must have strong math skills and easily able to conduct sound financial analyses.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ability to use MS Access.

  • Highly desired that the candidate have experience with NASA contracts, the NASA 533 form, but not mandatory.

  • Be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision.

  • Be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic.

  • Highly developed coordination and organization skills.
