CACI’s Business Systems Operating Group is searching for an Applications Development Lead who will lead the delivery of enhancement and development projects within a large portfolio of solutions for a Federal Government customer. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities in an Agile/SAFe environment.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The selected candidate will:

  • Manage a team of Applications Development professionals across various technologies like SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Sharepoint, Cold Fusion etc. to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, training and development, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as act as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts

  • Oversee process for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution

  • Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications

  • Communicate internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project

  • Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development

  • Analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement

  • Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the customer and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

  • Collaborate with Agile leaders and architects on roadmap development activities

  • Lead design and development of application work

  • Mentor development team

You’ll bring these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • 5+ years leading solution delivery for US Government customers, plus additional experience or 2 years with a Master's Degree

  • Experience developing and maintaining Plans of Actions and Milestones

  • Experience managing large sustainment and applications teams (20+ FTEs)

  • SAFe Agilist or other SAFe certification or willingness to study and obtain before submission

  • Agile Development Experience

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • PMP certification

  • Currently possesses SAFe 5 certification (or willing and able to obtain upon hire)

  • Prior project management experience on enterprise programs

  • Prior experience performing the required qualifications on Agile programs

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $79,000-$161,900. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
