A Quality Assurance Lead will support enterprise programs across a broad range of systems and software technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of Agile Software Development practices and experience delivering releasable software. In this role, they will be responsible for providing development of project Software Quality Assurance Plans and the implementation of procedures that conform to the requirements of the contract. They will provide an independent assessment of how the project’s software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization’s process.

An Quality Assurance Lead can be responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. They will establish goals and plans that meet project objectives; directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. They will conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle and will develop and evaluate quality processes and system standards to ensure compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements.

They will investigate/troubleshoot validation problems for equipment and/or performance processes; conduct statistical analyses of testing results and process anomalies; write documentation for new and current validation procedures and technical reports; and may assist with establishing corporate validation policies. They will provide focus to subordinates directed by established policies and precedents and supervise work operations on a weekly basis, and actively assist or furnish direction to subordinates as required. They may perform, especially in staff or professional groups, ongoing tasks of organizational units. They will recommend revisions to operating policies and procedures; frequently lead a centralized functional activity; and will function as advisors on all projects and tasks assigned to the organizational units under supervision while ensuring all goals and objectives of an initiative and the program are accomplished within contract terms and conditions. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

What you’ll get to do:

Serve as the Quality Assurance Lead responsible for all activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects responsibilities include:

  • Conduct audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation

  • Develop and implement procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications

  • Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments

  • Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization

  • Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes

  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas

  • Periodically develops data which goes beyond existing boundaries of information in field

  • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter

Preferred Qualifications include :

  • 5 or more years of experience in Compliance, Risk and Quality Assurance areas on large IT programs

  • Strong Project Management Skills (PMP certification preferred) and Agile/SAFe experience with SAFe 5 certification or ability to obtain the same

  • Familiarity with change management frameworks like PROSCI

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence multiple stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Operations, and Customers)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and decision-making skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Great interpersonal skills to support internal to CACI and external to partner engagements.

  • High-level of integrity, self-confidence, and character 

  • Ability to lead brainstorming discussions and workshops

  • Ability to influence without authority at level and above
