What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Program Analyst, you’ll serve as a consultant to the Director, Rule of Law, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) in the planning, coordination, and development of comprehensive reports to improve the overall development and execution of Rule of Law programs. This includes quantitative or qualitative analysis and evaluation of programs and providing the Director with information about improving initiatives and strategic plans. After developing strategic plans, you’ll recommend new policies and allocation of needed resources; assists the Director in overseeing the development of facilities, systems, and financial budgets for the programs.
More About this Role:
The Program Analyst works at the direction of the Director, Rule of Law, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and is responsible for the planning, coordination, and development of comprehensive Rule of Law programs. This includes quantitative or qualitative analysis and evaluation of programs and providing the Director with information about improving initiatives and strategic plans. After developing strategic plans, the analyst recommends new policies and the allocation of needed resources, and coordinates with affected stakeholders. The Program Analyst provides reports, papers, and briefings to Rule of Law leadership to improve the overall development and execution of the programs. The analyst assists the Director in overseeing the development of facilities, systems, and financial budgets for the programs. As required, the Program Analyst assists the Rule of Law Administrative/Logistics Specialist with administrative, communications, information technology (IT) and logistics support to the Directorate.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance.
Ten years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint program.
Four years of military or law enforcement support experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Deployment experience with US military, Department of State, or other US Government agency or organization.
Three years of experience with personnel, administrative or logistics programs.
