CACI International Contract Specialist (DAWIA Level II or III & SPS/PD2) in International, Bahrain
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will support the Army Contracting Command as a Contracts Specialist in a DoD Contracting Office in Bahrain.
More About the Role:
In this role you will provide acquisition support services for any or all stages of the procurement cycle from acquisition planning through contract closeout. Generally, Contracting Officers will assign projects and will require that you provide all the necessary support by:
Working in a team environment with the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government customers;
Assisting customers produce acquisition strategies, contractible requirements, and sound independent government cost estimates (IGCE);
Assisting with pre-award processes to include: well-documented market research, development and posting of solicitation documents, receipt and analysis of proposals, development of negotiation positions, and documentation of negotiations conducted by the Contracting Officer and preparation of award documentation for Contracting Officer's execution;
Providing Post-award support to include: monitoring of contract compliance, preparation of post-award contract administration documents, and preparation of contract closeout documentation for Contracting Officer approval; and
Providing support in development of briefing materials, data summaries, and procurement analyses and support as procurement subject matter experts.
Requirements are typically processed utilizing all existing available procurement vehicles such as GSA schedule contracts, blanket purchase agreements (BPA), and indefinite definite delivery/ indefinite quantity (IDIQ), and requirements contracts. The work required involves exposure to highly sensitive information of the Department of Defense (DoD) and associated contractors, therefore, a non-disclosure agreement is required.
Applicants will not be responsible for performing the inherently governmental functions of a Contracting Officer.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires at least a DAWIA, APDP, or FAC-C level II certification in Contracting;
-At least five (5) years of US Government contracting experience;
-Experience using SPS Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2); and,
-An active DoD Secret clearance..

-Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Contract Management
