What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Cloud Services Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

The Cloud Services Administrator is responsible for analyzing which services can be hosted on a cloud infrastructure, understand how service level agreements are measured in a hosted or hybrid cloud infrastructure, and provide IT functions and services within this infrastructure to the CCMD. They will develop a cloud integration plan that the Government will approve prior to beginning any migration of applications or data to the proposed cloud service. Plans must include integrated IT management with the selected cloud provider.

More About the Role:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Specifically, the Cloud Services Administrator will be responsible for transforming operational environments from on-premises to cloud-based solutions. They will work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables. They support the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based server environments, and work directly with software developers to test, deploy, and optimize cloud-based applications. They help plan, design, and stand up the environments, then perform environment maintenance, working with development teams to implement approved changes.

Additionally, the Cloud Services Administrator will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain

  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner

  • MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure

  • CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)

  • Experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016

  • Experience with cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure)

  • Proven record of demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a hybrid environment

  • Experience in requirements analysis and system architecture design

  • TESA eligibility

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v3 – Foundation

  • Experience leveraging DevOps best practices

  • Experience automating environment deployments using virtual machines, container technology, and cloud environments

  • Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs

  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
