CACI is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to join the AFAMS program in Kaiserslautern, Germany. You will develop and implement an effective information security education program and provide continuous security education training, as well as provide personnel and physical security support, to all site military, civilian, and contract employees.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Receive, review, and submit requests for personnel clearances for serviced civilian, contractor, and military personnel.

  • Check the request for completeness and accuracy and contact the Security Manager, Supervisor, points of contact at the serviced units, and/or the individual subject of the background/clearance investigation for any questions or corrections that are required.

  • Use computer software such as analysis tools to research and facilitate work.

  • Maintain a file for status of pending investigations, status of all members, as well as periodic reinvestigations for secret and top secret clearances held.

  • Notify the units of individuals requiring reinvestigation and resubmission of documentation.

  • Perform duties related to assisting suitability adjudications/determinations for the fitness and suitability of civilian employees, contractors and/or applicants for initial and continuing employment retention.

  • Execute established policies and procedures required for the personnel security program.

  • Participates in assessments and evaluates compliance of activities with complex security requirements, identifies deficiencies, and ensures corrective action is identified for each deficiency found.

  • Assist and advise senior leadership in matters pertaining to the enforcement of regulations governing the access to, and the dissemination, reproduction, transmission, transportation, safeguarding, and destruction of classified or CUI information and material.

  • Assists in management and administration of the physical access control systems.

  • Perform administrative office support functions and develop, coordinate, and publish all SF installation level publications.

  • Assist in managing SF program designed to provide a secure mission environment.

  • Help establish requirements for police services, physical security, and Anti-Terrorism programs.

  • Help establish liaison between SF and civilian law enforcement agencies.

  • Assist in Developing and writing localized SF policies and procedures.

  • Assist in inventorying computers going into and out of the SCIF.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 year's experience performing personnel and physical security functions.

  • Experience with DISS/JPAS databases to submit and review security clearance requests and verifications.
