We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to enable EUCOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, J4 Systems Integrator . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

This position is a unique engineering position which gives the candidate the opportunity to engineer solutions to enable effective command and control for the J4 within the theater. The candidate will design and engineer solutions to enable disparate J4 Information Management Systems to share data. The successful candidate will assist the Combatant Command to unify J4 communication systems between the headquarters and its components as well as coalition partners then produce information out of the data.

The selected individual, with direction from the government, will be given the opportunity to create a solution from scratch and then maintain that solution going forward. The selected candidate will:

  • Support logistic information management systems to inform strategic resourcing decisions, joint planning and the execution of operations and exercises.

  • Develop data sharing strategies - plan data structures and data sharing between disparate logistical systems.

  • Provide project management oversight in the integration of Information Management Systems between each of the components and coalition partners.

  • Establish a data flow hierarchy with subordinate commands and coalition partners.

  • Build Oracle based queries to extract data from command and coalition partner information systems to extract information and display in dashboards to leadership.

  • Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests for J4 managed IT systems.

  • Advise J4 staff on technical implementations and integration of J4 Information Management systems with components and coalition partners.

  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.

  • Provide maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, tools and training.

  • Be prepared to lead exercises/training with components and staff by developing curriculum and capabilities.

  • Develop a functional knowledge of systems such as US DoD Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), NATO Logistics Functional Area Services (LOGFAS), USEUCOM Mission Partner Environment (MPE), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES), Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) and Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A), Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) and Joint (GCSS-J), Single Mobility System (SMS), among other systems.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain

  • BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience

  • Demonstrated experience engineering solutions to technical problems

  • Significant experience communicating with customers to extract technical requirements

  • Technical project management experience

  • Demonstrated computer programming experience and understanding of database structures.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

  • DoD IAT II

  • Must complete LOGFAS Introductory Course NLT 90 days from initiation of contract.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Technical experience implementing or maintaining JOPES, LOGFAS, SBSS, SMS or GCSS

  • ITIL – Foundation

  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements

  • Experience managing metrics supporting Critical Success Factors (CSF)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
