What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Microsoft Windows Image Development Engineer. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to relocate OCONUS.
Responsible for the design and development of Windows workstation images for both virtual desktop (VDI) and traditional thick clients.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. The engineer will be competent in all areas of Windows workstation image development and deployment. The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present design briefs to high ranking personnel and be able to provide whiteboard training sessions and presentations to incoming personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Top-Secret Clearance with SCI and be able to maintain
Current MCSA: Modern Desktop Administrator certification
Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II (Security+ or equivalent)
BA/BS or 15 years recent relevant experience
5+ years designing and deploying Windows workstation images in a large DoD/IC environment
Understanding of Microsoft AppLocker
Very good understanding of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for image deployment
Very good understanding of Windows workstation configuration and administration
Very good understanding of VDI environments and constraints/differences with traditional thick clients
Extensive PowerShell Scripting experience around image management and deployment
Application of security settings/STIGs and other commercial security best practices
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Extensive Windows Server 2019 experience
Microsoft Azure knowledge and certification
ITIL v4 - Foundation
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
