We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Scrum Master . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation:

  • Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and self-organizing environment.

  • Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Remove impediments and ensure the team's progress by maintaining a focus on the team's commitments.

Team Empowerment:

  • Empower the development team to become self-organized and cross-functional.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, open communication, and transparency within the team.

  • Encourage a continuous improvement mindset, both at the team and organizational levels.

Scrum Process Guidance:

  • Guide the team in adopting and refining Scrum practices and principles.

  • Ensure that the team understands and follows the agreed-upon Scrum processes.

  • Facilitate discussions on Agile and Scrum principles, helping the team embrace an Agile mindset.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the development team and product owner, ensuring clear communication of priorities and requirements.

  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile teams to share best practices and contribute to the Agile community within the organization.

  • Help resolve conflicts within the team and foster a positive team environment.

Metrics and Reporting:

  • Track and communicate team velocity, progress, and key performance indicators.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on team performance to stakeholders.

  • Use data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience.

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance with ability to to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and other Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt and guide teams through change and continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with Agile tools and practices, such as Jira and Confluence.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
