CACI International Site Engineer - OCONUS in International, South Korea

Job Description

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, has an opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer and Manager to join our team in Southeast Asia. This non-hostile OCONUS assignment comes with a generous benefits package!

A current TS/SCI poly clearance will be required to begin employment.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As the Site Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, overseeing the management of multiple IT system infrastructure to include day-to-day operations, monitoring of and maintenance for the current infrastructure, problem resolution, improving systems performance and any processes related to these systems. You will develop requirements from the project’s inception to its conclusion for IT subject matter areas (i.e., Networking, System Administration, simple to complex systems). Assists with analysis, evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and maintenance efforts. Supports the development, review, and analysis of CONOPs, requirements, scenarios and use cases.

As the Site Manager, you will serve as a point of contact for the site Technical Contracting Officer's Representative (T-COR) and CACI Program Manager (PM). You will contribute to on-site efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. You will ensure the proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract. You will utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.

More About the Role:

  • Perform SATCOM hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting

  • Provide Network design, installation and implementation services to include the installation and management of Cisco routers, Brocade switches, Riverbed accelerators and encryption devices.

  • Perform Microsoft operating system (server and workstation) installation, configuration and management

  • Communicate effectively with T-COR, Technical Lead and other customers

  • Provide scheduling support for 24x7x365 team

  • Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews

  • Assist PM with the timely recruitment and training of program technical staff

  • Act as direct supervisor for all site staff, performing timecard approvals and audits, performance reviews, etc.

  • Ensure cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet Government needs

  • Communicate issues and solutions to the PM and Site TCOR in a timely and transparent manner

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff

  • Assist PM with allocation of resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the contract.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Network or Systems or Site Engineering or related discipline and Ten (10) years experience providing Engineering Support.

  • Ten (10) years experience in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

  • Five (5) years must be within the Intelligence Community.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.

  • Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required.

  • Experience with SATCOM hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Poly

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the design, installation and implementation of networks to include demonstrated experience with network hardware, to include Cisco routers, Brocade switches, Riverbed accelerators and encryption devices.

  • Experience with LINUX server installation, configuration and management.

  • Experience with Microsoft operating system installation, configuration and management, to include servers and workstations.

  • Experience with Nortel Option 11C PBX.

  • Basic knowledge of shielded enclosure operations and restrictions

  • Basic knowledge of facility support

  • Experience managing a team of technical resources

  • Experience working in a foreign (non-US) environment
