CACI International CIED Training Aid Fabricator in International, Kuwait
What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) CIED Training Aid Fabricator, you are responsible for the design, modeling, fabrication, and repair of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) student training aids using modified off the shelf components.
More About the Role:
You will serve on a training team with responsibilities including researching current intelligence relating to applicable missions and integration of relevant information into courses.
You will evaluate the effectiveness of training to ensure that training objectives are met. Your focus through the training programs is designed to improve the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of military forces responding to regional and/or worldwide threats.
You may be armed and will be required to wear personal protective equipment during duties that may require extensive travel to various remote locations throughout the Iraq area of operation.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must possess a current SECRET clearance.
Documented experience comducting IED Defeat training.
Skilled at electrical component and circuitry identification, design, and fabrication.
Skilled with basic power and hand tools used in the fabrication of mock devices.
Knowledge and experience with IED components, reverse engineering, and employment of mock devices for training purposes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Advanced IED electronics training, certification, or experience.
Deployment experience as an EOD Technician within the CENTCOM theater.
