What You’ll Get to Do:
Would you like to support the Army Expeditionary Contracting Command (ACC) and have a direct impact on the ACC’s Information Technology (IT) mission? CACI is seeking a qualified IT Specialist/SPS PD2 Systems Administrator to support a DoD Contracting Office in Kuwait.
More About the Role:
As an IT Specialist you will provide support necessary to implement, integrate, maintain or modify Non-Secure Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet), (Unclassified), Secret Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (SIPRNet), and /or Coalition Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange (CENTRIX) System (CENTRIXS) end-user equipment, servers, and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) hardware;
will perform system administration, network administration, database administration, and Information Assurance technical functions for accomplishing work processes involving Information Technology (IT) systems, such as desktops, notebooks, printers, servers, switches and routers, in both a fixed and mobile operating environment.
will support the ACC as a PD2 System Administrator to ensure PD2 is updated and maintained in accordance with the latest policies & procedures
Additional responsibilities include, performing work necessary to document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify IT systems, and install, operate, and maintain information assurance tools and systems to include use of scans and software automated tools. This work primarily involves contract task areas of Information Technology Services, Systems, Operations/Maintenance, and Network Support. Secondary emphasis is Information Assurance and Education/Training.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Four years of System Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Hardware/Software support, Customer Support, and interaction with vendors;
At least two (2) years of experience with SPS PD2 System Administration;
CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+;
CompTIA Security+; and
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP or higher).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Four Bachelor's (or higher) degree (in any field of study), with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management;
SharePoint expertise; and
