Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Conduct temporary install / uninstall of CsUAS systems in a variety of locations / environmental conditions to support client CsUAS testing and evaluation operations.

  • Conduct permanent / semi-permanent installs and continuing operational support, monitoring, and maintenance of CsUAS systems in a variety of locations / environmental conditions to support client CsUAS operational requirements.

  • Travel to overseas locations to perform technical inspections, system checks, fault diagnosis, identify cause of failures, and replace Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), test and restore CsUAS systems to full functionality.

  • Conduct basic programming of CsUAS systems (install/upgrade load sets, firmware, software upgrades, etc.).

  • Work with the CsUAS Team to develop and conduct training on the proper care, use, maintenance and preventive maintenance of systems.

  • Maintain equipment inventories and author monthly system status and logistics status reports

Primary Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):

  • Travel to customer locations to assess unit equipment status an/or maintenance requirements and provide unique systems configurations/solutions to maintain systems operational availability at a maximum level.

  • Provide hands on troubleshooting expertise inside and outside of buildings for terminating power, optical fiber, and network communication needs. Interface directly with Government customers as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CsUAS system support.

  • Troubleshoot system problems and/or integration issues, determine system solution in accordance with customer needs, and execute corrective actin to restore system operations.

Physical Requirements:

Routine manual lifting of objects 50-60 pounds such as boxes and other equipment. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 100 feet. Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment

Work Conditions:

Work assignments are performed in the Middle-east where extreme weather conditions exist. Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of SECRET level Security Clearance required.

  • 100% TDY at customer site locations.

  • Experience with ground based Electronic Countermeasures (ECM)

  • Candidate must hold a valid U.S. passport with an expiration of not sooner than 12/30/2021 with at least 4 blank pages.

  • Have a current unrestricted driver’s license that valid through 31 December 2021

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; experience working with tools.

  • Ability to use and communicate a wide variety of technical data from OEM manuals, engineering drawings, etc. to engineers as well as to non-technical system end users.

  • Candidate must possess, and use, a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills in daily interactions with team members, clients, vendors, and end users.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or 5 years work/military experience desired.

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience with RF communications systems, network infrastructure, and/or ground based electronic security systems.
