CACI International Systems Administrator II in International, Qatar

We are looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement AUAB-379th QATAR, AFCENT’s mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Systems Administrator (SA). This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, AUAB-379 ECS, located OCONUS in Qatar. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning.
Provides assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
Performs a variety of difficult assignments associated with monitoring and controlling computer operating systems.
Sets up and maintains more than one type of computer system such as Open VMS Systems/DSM environments, UNIX systems (SCO and SUN), and Windows systems. Analyzes system faults and troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
Evaluates and installs developed software during various phases of testing. Reviews and prepares documentation for systems, tests and installation of software. Investigates and recommends methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Initiates preventive maintenance on the operating systems as well as repair to system/environment problems.
Administers systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules.
Interfaces with vendors for trouble calls. Supports the planning of system/environment requirements for individual projects. May provide work direction and guidance to others.
More About the Role:SA will provide remote support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and supporting network devices consisting of primarily Cisco routers and switches. Using this knowledge, the system administrator will be successful in providing necessary administration and maintenance support of this system.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
BA/BS + 6 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
MCSA – Windows 10 or newer
MCSA – Windows Server 2012 or newer or SQL Server 2012/2014
MCSE - Mobility
Specialized experience in:
Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008/2012 or later version
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 (or later version) and other mail applications (local and remote)
Microsoft Active Directory 2008/2012 or later version
Network server backup
DHCP, DNS, WINS, and domain controllers
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
ITIL v3 - Foundation
Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
Experience with Microsoft SCCM
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
Experience working in VmWare ESXi environments
Experience with network storage (SAN/NAS)
Experience with enterprise backup solutions
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
Experience working with and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches
