Job Description
CACI has a need for a IT SYSTEMS Administrator that will support the NAVSEA Program Executive Office (PEO) for Unmanned and Small Combatants’ (USC), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Office (PMS 525)
What You’ll Get to Do:
Position requires installation, oversight, maintenance, corrective actions, and help desk functions for 50 user LAN.
Install a learning/computer lab (40 user positions) with classroom peripherals and ensure it is fully operational and available.
Identify and recommend how to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies, support cyber updates and patch critical systems.
Experience and communication skills will come in handy turning metrics into actionable information and communicate their meaning.
Must be comfortable working in an international market where the hiring company supports international military student training programs.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with help desk support or systems administration
3+ years’ experience installing and maintaining networks with 50+ user stations
Experience updating and patching Windows operating systems
Ability to document support tickets to include detailed steps taken to resolve issue and time spent
IAT Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ with Windows 2016, SQL or Windows 365
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment
US Citizenship
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
HS diploma or GED
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
IT leadership/mentoring/instructor experience
Experience working with Dell computers
Experience with supporting Windows Server 2016
Experience with supporting SQL Server 2012-2016
Experience with configuring and updating network equipment (printers, copiers, monitors, projectors, Wi-Fi, and hardwired networks)
BA or BS degree in CS or IT
Prior military experience
