CACI International Logistics Analyst in Jessup, Maryland

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Logistics Analyst II for our Jessup, MD location. In this position you will work under general direction, this position will be responsible for setting up and managing a compliant Government Property Management program in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Roles and Responsibilities:Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for receiving, processing, storing, routing, and distributing property and materials from commercial and DOD entitiesDevelop and ensure written policies and procedures are in accordance with current FAR regulations.Set up oversee and conduct periodic physical asset inventories, asset location surveys and perform monthly self-assessment audits of asset data base recordsDevelop and provide property reports, inventory listings, and calibration reports to customers as contractually required, and to technical staff, Program and Project Managers on requestRecommend and implement process improvements for GPMProvide expertise and support during audits by U.S. Government auditors as well as internal/external LGS auditors Provide guidance to other team members to maintain supporting documents files to FAR standards for the data contained in the automated Property Management system Provide insight for current "Best Business Practices" for Government Property Management and Supply Chain OperationsDelivery of items for shipment to shipping carriers Ability to obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level necessary to perform the duties of the positionOperate a forklift and performs daily maintenance checks to insure safe operation

Minimum Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or Business Administration or related field and 2-4 years of GPM experience or combination of education, skills, and experienceSignificant experience as an administrator of FAR compliant automated property accounting systemsDetailed knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Government Property regulationsThorough understanding of the data types required by the FAR to ensure all government property data requirements are addressedExperience in the tracking and preparation of supporting documents for government property recordsExperience with shipping and receiving Dangerous Goods according to international and federal regulationsKnowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as requiredAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionWorking knowledge of inventory processes and systemsGood written and verbal skills

Detail orientated with outstanding attention to accuracyAbility to lift fifty (50) poundsDeltek CostPoint experienceAbility to obtain a US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) certification or comparable U.S. Government TrainingGovernment Property Tracking System training course completionActive TS/SCI highly desired
