What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking an experienced Secretary II to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) located at Keyport, WA. Primary support will be provided to the NUWC Keyport Comptroller Department for Accounting duties. The position requires an individual to interface with all levels of the command staff, departments, divisions and others to ensure that responses to action items, data calls, information, or problem resolution are properly acted upon. The position demands consistency of office operations by independently responding to many of the routine inquiries or ensuring that members of the staff are provided support in response to technical tasks.

What You’ll Get to Do:

•Working with a team of government employees and contractors, monitor compliance to Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) guidelines and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) to ensure that individuals on TDY are accurately recording costs and labor

• Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple individuals and staff.

•Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the supervisor and staff, works fairly independently receiving a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance, referring only unusual problems or situations lacking clear precedents to the manager for decision.

•Performs various duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the office.

•Includes fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors,

• word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.

•Interface with all levels of the command staff, departments, divisions and others to ensure that responses to action items, data calls, information, or problem resolution are properly acted upon.

•Independently responding to many of the routine inquiries or ensuring that members of the staff are provided support in response to technical tasks.

• Coordinates personnel and administrative forms for the office and forwards for processing.

•Create, process and research various purchase request, supply orders and training requests.

•Provide Property Management support. Apply barcodes to accountable assets; report and document assets for excess, transfer and required reporting. Conduct inventories, prepare property passes and update required databases.

•Update/input data into various databases and applications such as Defense Travel System (DTS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), Records Library, property management systems and SharePoint sites.

Required Skills:

•Must have experience using Microsoft PowerPoint , Word, Outlook, and Visio.

•On routine assignments, employee selects and applies established procedures and techniques.

•Experience using SharePoint

•Current DOD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

•Microsoft Access Experience

• Experience using government systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and Total Workforce Management System (TWMS)
