The Mission Systems Actions Officer supports, as part of the RCOH team, the identification and investigation of process leveraging opportunities across aircraft carrier classes to enable improved mission capability, commonality of configuration, and reduced total ownership cost for these ships. Work assignments in support of these initiatives will be defined by the government with input from the Actions Officer, based on how the knowledge, expertise, and experience of the team members can best be applied.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Attend the weekly Mission Systems Engineering Team Meetings with the SEM and Program Manager.
Maintain configuration management of the Share Point V24 NSERC and 05V iNAVSEA Action Item (AI) Databases.
Provide support to the Mission Systems SEM and DSEM on Product Tracking process improvement.
Coordinate and track responses to requests for technical action. Develop and Maintain Product Tracking Spreadsheets.
Provide Bi-Weekly Mission Systems AI Updates to the SDMs.
Prepare briefs/presentations as required. Provide all action item supporting documentation from the IDE, NDE, CVN 74 AWP, eLAR system, etc. for the RCOH Mission Systems Technical Team as required.
Update the Mission Systems RCOH milestone schedule in Microsoft Pro format as directed by the Mission Systems SEM and DSEM.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
3+ years years of experience with the U.S. Navy or DoD Acquisition Programs.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to interface with team members, technical leads and Project Managers.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
