What You’ll Get to Do:
Write, maintain, and execute manual and automated test standards to test information technology products, equipment, and systems.
Perform unit, functional, or system level test of tactical weapon system software.
Design test procedures and provide technical expertise on specific products, operating systems, and specialized environments.
Configure hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Participate in the development of test environments using test automation tools and agile methods
More About the Role:
This role will include identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics to optimize testing or to provide diagnostic test data. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into test solutions acknowledging technical abilities, schedule, and cost constraints. Develop and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complex test events. Coordinates integrated testing activities, reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of the test program, performs technical analysis of complete systems, and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A Secret Clearance must be Obtainable (US Citizen)
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Ten (10) years of System Test experience in real time Weapon Systems development or test and evaluation.
Experience with test and evaluation strategies and statistical analysis of data and engineering tools.
Demonstrated understanding of concepts related to system performance testing and methods of system test design.
Experience with process development, management and implementation (such as the Software Engineering Institutes Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with naval weapons systems and their sub components, general purpose tools, and Launcher.
Experience with the operation and maintenance of naval weapons systems equipment aboard a surface or subsurface platform.
Experience using navy Operating Procedures, Standard Maintenance Procedures, Casualty Procedures, Corrective Maintenance Procedures, and other reference documentation required to maintain/operate navy weapons systems.
Experience with fleet operations and battle group operations.
