CACI International System Engineer T1 in King George, Virginia

Job Description

System Engineer to assist Navy customer with the Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS) program by analyzing requirements for existing and future Control Processor (CP) updates.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assess and root cause reported computer program problems, develop and recommend solutions, deliver analysis reports.

  • Candidate will review computer systems capabilities, workflows, and making recommendations that include automation

  • Candidate may assist with testing and debugging.

  • Perform functional analysis of systems performance issues

  • Prepare required documentation, including program-level and user-level documentation

  • Report status at internal and customer meetings.

  • Candidate will review and analysis problem reports and report findings as required

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline

  • Knowledge of Unix and Linux Operating Systems.

  • Must be able to travel and perform shift work

  • Needs to work well within an industry government team

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Working knowledge of Aegis Combat/Weapon Systems.
