CACI International Aviation CAD Designer (CREO/SolidWorks 3D REQUIRED) in Lakewood, New Jersey
CACI is seeking an Aviation CAD Designer for our continuing partnership with the Army Communication-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) /Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) / Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) and CERDEC Flight Activity (CFA) in a recently awarded four-year opportunity that will enhance CFA’s mission in supporting the Warfighter. CFA Engineering and Support task order provides CACI the opportunity to enhance CFAs mission with state-of-the-art research, development and engineering, and to provide capabilities to better support aviation related projects for the advancement of C4ISR technologies. What You’ll Get to Do:
Document the design, development, and installation of electro-mechanical assemblies and electrical harnesses for rotary wing aircraft
Create 2D, and possibly 3D harness drawings from available data sets
Provide support to Mechanical and Electrical engineers for cable assembly designs
Communicate professionally with customer personnel
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical field and 3 years of experience with designing/drafting aerospace or equivalent type harnesses, electrical test equipment, avionics boxes, associated brackets, and aviation electro-mechanical assemblies
A Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment
As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance
Ability and willingness to support a travel requirement upwards of 50%
Significant and verifiable experience with Creo – ProCabling and/or SolidWorks Routing highly desired; equivalent other software will be considered
Significant and verifiable proficiency with electrical/mechanical design and integration using 2-D and 3-D CAD software
Proficiency with MS Office
