Job Description

CACI is seeking a Program Manager who will be a head of a mid-size to large program for the CACI organization. Establishes and implements strategies for the area of responsibility, with direct impact on the achievement of organizational results. Focus is on long-term strategies (e.g., 3-5 years) to achieve business results. Directly influences the overall vision/strategy for the CRIC-ES program at Lexington Park, MD.

  • Problems faced are frequently complex and require broad-based solutions that impact multiple areas of the organization.

  • Responsible for improving upon entire processes or systems, leveraging on personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of best practices in the marketplace that may improve the competitive position of the organization.

  • Drives the proposal process for programs, which requires significant cooperation with program managers, business development managers and key customers.

More About the Role:

As Deputy Program Manager shall support the PM as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the program. Shall direct efforts of cross-competency teams, to include contractor personnel at multiple locations, and shall serve as a primary interface and POC with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues. Shall be responsible for regularly briefing leadership on program status and milestones. Shall oversee contractor personnel’s project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort, and monitoring and reporting progress. Shall manage acquisition and employment of project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the project.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field or Bachelor’s degree in a business or management-related field.

  • Ten years of experience managing large (>$100M) complex engineering projects associated with the design, development, integration, and test of C5ISR systems onto various platforms in support of DoD and DHS customers.

  • Must have a significant background in military communication, integration, installation, and fielding of C5ISR Electronics Systems.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in a military environment performing engineering, integration, and test of C4ISR systems.

  • A knowledge or familiarity of Special Communications Mission Solutions, St Inigoes, MD division of NAWCAD 4.11 mission and customers.
