What You’ll Get to Do
Direct multiple experienced technical managers on a Research & Development team by identifying government requirements and creating/executing implementation strategies for projects, quality management system, process development and improvement and overall customer satisfaction.
More About the Role
Work effectively and collaboratively with the program Executive Director as the primary resource on overall project decomposition and prioritization strategies
Responsible for all facets of implementation related to assigned project
Serve as primary technical customer point of contact for assigned project
Monitor budgets, schedules and resource planning for assigned project
As needed/requested by the Executive Director, address the status of the overall program to both customers and the team
Develop complex plans and execute customer funded tasks within budget and on scheduled using modern software development
Deliver external and internal customer satisfaction by demonstrating exemplary leadership and measuring results
Operate effectively and comfortably in a team environment as a team leader
Build the team’s capabilities by hiring, developing skills and excellent engineering talent
Promote change and innovation in support of the organization’s objectives
Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms and behaviors and provide guidance on employee development, performance and productivity
Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Perform other duties as required
Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Successful management of advanced technology projects – software and/or hardware
Experience coaching and supervising of technical staff
Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership in establishing organization goals, implementing value-added process improvements and motivation of a highly skilled team while maintaining a strong customer focus
In-depth experience in software engineering and development for communications systems, including architectural innovation and technical leadership
Broad experience with the software engineering process from requirements reviews, code inspection to component delivery and sign-off
Working knowledge of government development programs and contracting
Independent leader and thinker
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 12 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Master’s degree preferred
Knowledge of IP telephony, signaling, call processing, real time operating systems, and hardware interface software (e.g. device drivers, low-level embedded SW)
Knowledge of government contracting is desirable
