CACI is currently looking for an Integration and Test Engineer with experience in electro-optical system integration, system test planning, and system test execution. This is part of our SA Photonics group, we specialize in the design, development and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications. Our products include optical and RF communication systems as well as sophisticated image processing & visualization systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Hardware/software and opto-mechanical system integration

  • Development of system-level test plans, based on system requirements

  • Development of system test approaches and test fixtures, especially for optical systems

  • Definition and execution of system optical and/or communication performance-tests

  • Prototype module test and debug support

  • Support of optical, electrical and mechanical component selection and test

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in bring-up of electro-optical systems

  • History of creating industry-standard documentation for plans and results

  • Understanding of electronic, optical, and mechanical systems

  • Understanding of the product development process

  • Self-motivated and self-directed individual, with little supervision necessary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with free-space optical and/or RF communication systems is desired

  • Experience with a programming language for bench tests, Python preferred
