CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who will serve as a technical project resource and assist lead and implement the implementation of the customer’s application systems to the Amazon Cloud. As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will also be required to provide hands-on technical support for the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Supporting development of technical solution for application system and components implementing to multiple cloud environments

  • Conducting analysis and design to meet requirements and implementing and deploying solutions development for systems and/or applications

  • Providing some support for cost estimates to clients based on architecture designs

  • Converting business requirements into detail systems architecture and solution design

  • Providing technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and guidance during the program execution

  • Providing hands-on technical support during the development, implement, and deployment of the solution

  • Providing education and technical advice to implement a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodology with Jenkins Pipeline and GitHub

  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and standards

  • Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Analyzing and studying complex systems requirements

  • Applying the Concept of Operations (CONOPs) set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, construction, and operation of information systems across a major sector of the organization

  • Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions

  • Preparing required documentation, including program-level and user-level documentation

  • Assisting in establishing standards for information security systems procedures

  • Reviewing and analyzing security audits and computer logs to improve endpoint security measures

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work independently and perform technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for computer security products and systems

  • Professional experience in architecting and operating solutions built in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Experience working in large enterprise application environments

  • Experience with implementing cloud applications workloads or migrating from on-premise to cloud

  • Understanding off different types of storage (e.g., block and file), availability zones, computer types, and application requirements

  • Understanding of API integration and management (gateways), monitoring workloads, and creating application dashboards in the cloud

  • Fundamental knowledge of cloud identity and access management (IAM), as well as enterprise compliance

  • Experience provisioning compute, network, and storage resources, and supporting application workloads, enterprise volume of traffic, and on-premise application integration

  • Experience with scaling out versus up utilizing elastic services and load balancers

  • Hands-on experience with deploying, testing, and managing enterprise applications to the cloud

  • Demonstrated experience working with business and technical personnel to deliver a robust, scalable architecture for an IT system that meets the business goals of an IT system

  • Demonstrated experience performing requirements analysis to create non-user requirements based on user requirements and then, creating systems architectures to meet those requirements

  • Demonstrated experience designing, configuring, and maintaining the Information Technolology Infrastructure associated with an IT system hosted in the Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) environment

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing impact of proposed scope changes to future achitectures

  • Experience accrediting IT systems under the ICD 503 Certification and Accreditation process

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio

Education & Experience Required:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associates degree

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

These Qualification Would be Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with AWS Relational Data Service (RDS)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and computer network defense topics

  • Experience with the operations and on-going responsibilities of a Security Operations Center (SOC)

These Certifications Would Be Nice To Have:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Architect – Associate

  • AWS Certified Cloud Architect – Professional
