CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. What You’ll Get to Do:

The Cyber Security Systems Administration identifies systems security vulnerabilities and designs or deploys solutions that support a high availability system. The Cyber Analyst who will enhance security compliance baselines utilizing COTS and GOTS enterprise level cyber security tools and applications. In this role, you must be able to work independently and lead teams to perform technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for computer security products and systems.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Understanding and identifying new vulnerabilities and attack vectors to actively hunt for threats across multiple networks

  • Collaborating with clients regarding the nature of the systems vulnerabilities and recommending remediation steps

  • Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

  • Testing and monitoring computer systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems

  • Analyzing and studying complex systems requirements

  • Applying the Concept of Operations (CONOPs) set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, construction and operation of information systems across a major sector of the organization

  • Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions

  • Assisting in establishing standards for information security systems procedures

  • Operating and maintaining the branch’s standalone LAN

  • LAN/WAN configurations

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to think in a logical manner

  • Work experience in a secure telecommunications network environment

  • Basic understanding of IT fundamentals

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (e.g., Windows 2000, XP, and NT)

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational communications, communications methods, organizational message flow, formal writing style, and an in-depth knowledge of common terminology and acronyms

  • Excellent customer relations, professionalism, and ability to demonstrate a knowledge of interpersonal communications skills

  • Ability and confidence to professionally represent the branch through public speaking

  • Working knowledge of computer hardware (e.g., switches, routers, servers, etc.) and their functions, troubleshooting, and pinging devices

  • Working knowledge of networking

  • Working knowledge of network topologies

  • Working knowledge of systems administration

  • Familiarity with cyber security and computer network defense topics

Education & Experience Required:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent:

  • 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

These Qualification Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in systems administration

  • Experience in networking

  • Experience with the operations and on-going responsibilities of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
