Job Description

CACI is hiring a prepress production specialist , these positions requires an active TS/SCI plus Poly.

You will be supporting our client's graphic design projects and will also provide support to prepress production requirements. This position requires an individual who can work equally with illustrators, pressmen, and other print plant specialists in their respective fields.

This position description is not an active opening but is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Facilitate the production of publications by converting artwork into film;

  • Create and utilize training materials, SOPs, and other documentation necessary for knowledge transfer purposes;

  • Proof film;

  • Strip film to make plates that can be utilized in printing and press applications;

  • Operate computer-to-plate and computer-to-film systems;

  • Possess knowledge of traditional and digital photography;

  • Reproduce high quality negatives and/or positives;

  • Digital Strip and plate negatives;

  • Utilize of graphic photo equipment (e.g. Fuji or Topaz scanners, Heidelberg processor, etc.).

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

  • Associate degree in graphic design, graphic arts, illustration, printing, photography, or related field.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Related bachelor degree

  • Experience supporting specific customer's graphic design needs.

  • Proficient with multiple graphic programs and end-product formats.
