What You’ll Get to Do

The organization is responsible for the planning and coordination of projects across multiple U.S. Government departments and agencies. The Sponsor requires support specializing in data management, analysis, and visualization to design, develop, and implement a system to support coordination and the decision-making process. The current system utilizes SharePoint and Tableau, but future versions can be built on any suitable technology that meets user requirements. Work will involve gathering user requirements and developing a system according to those requirements.

More About the Role

The Contractor shall work closely with team members to gather requirements; however, the Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities. The Contractor shall assess and validate data storage, data search, and data visualization requirements across the Sponsor's organization. The Contractor shall assess and validate user interface requirements across the Sponsor's organization. The Contractor shall redesign the existing SharePoint and Tableau applications to add new features and to optimize, scale, or improve stability and performance. The Contractor shall provide operations and maintenance (O&M), and content management support for developed application. The Contractor shall add and update data to the database.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly

  • Demonstrated experience with web application development.

  • Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance of SharePoint sites.

  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization.

  • Demonstrated experience with data ETL.

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products such as MS Excel. Demonstrated experience identifying and validating requirements for Tableau. Demonstrated experience in database technology.

  • Demonstrated experience with data and system integration.

  • Demonstrated experience with identifying technology gaps in current capabilities and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience with taking projects into production and supporting ongoing releases such as major releases, minor release, and emergency fix releases.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated experience in various data sources such as MySQL, Oracle, or Splunk.

  • Demonstrated experience working with programing languages such as Python.

  • Demonstrated experience in information security best practices and implementation.

  • Certifications:

-SharePoint Administrator.

-SharePoint Application Developer.
