CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a skilled Big Data Software Engineer who will support our client with their mission to develop, deploy, and maintain a portfolio of applications and services to enable advanced financial information queries.
What You’ll Get to Do:
In this role, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a federated search and discovery software system to integrate data related to financial information from a variety of data providers. The production deployment environment is in the Cloud environment. Our customer embraces the Agile Scrum development methodology. The team also interfaces directly with the Sponsor’s Product Owner.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required
Demonstrated experience working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment to deliver secure systems
Ability to develop in a DevOps environment
Experience developing software in a continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) paradigm
Prior experience programming with Java and associated frameworks, such as Spring Boot
Demonstrated experience with scripting utilizing JavaScript (JS), such as Angular
Experience with the Maven build system
Understanding and experience with the Jira Issue tracking system
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Demonstrated experience working with financial data sets.
Demonstrated experience supporting Enterprise software development efforts.
Demonstrated experience with ElasticSearch.
