CACI International Systems Administrator in Mclean, Virginia

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Provide 24 x 7 monitoring support to Client/Server and Network Operations.

• Take appropriate action to maintain system availability.

• Review system anomalies, perform initial troubleshooting, generate and route ESMT tickets to the appropriate service providers for timely work off.

• Maintain current and accurate logs, accurately documenting all system outages and pertinent follow-up information as required.

• Remain current in with Standard Operating Procedures, system manuals and control logs.

• Maintain accuracy of all System Analysts tasks.

• Continue to develop state of the art knowledge and skills as required for the evolving technical environment.

• Provide direction, training and assistance to System Analysts.

• Responsible for Shift activities, ensuring that anomalies are handled in a timely manner, ensuring the Senior Service Manager and CSM Management abreast of Critical situations.


Candidate must have one of the following:

• 10 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

• 8 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

• 4-7 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

• 3 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree

• 2 Years of job related experience and Doctorate


• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.

• Hands on experience with monitoring tools.


• Experience with the following applications:

o Maximo – ESMT

• Experience with the following applications:

o Maximo – ESMT

o HP Openview

o Lotus Notes databases and e-mail.

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• The ability to work closely with CSM Management, Client/Server and Network professionals and the customer community.

Work hours:

Day Shift 6:30am - 6:30pm
