CACI International Systems Engineer in Mclean, Virginia
Demonstrated experience performing Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) or CentOS Linux system administration to include user/group account management, file & directory administration, firewall modification, sudoers file modification, configuration of SSH, NTP, DNS, NFS, NIC bounding/teaming, port forwarding and system limits
Demonstrated engineering experience with the instllation and configuration of free open source software (FOSS) packages onto RHEL or CentOS platforms to include the compilation of source code and ensuring configuration meets Sponsor's security requirements.
Demonstrated engineering experience developing modules or scripts to harden systems using Center for Internet (CIS) Benchmarks or DISA STIC Checklists
Demonstrated administration experience with provisioning and securing virtual machines or EC2 instances in Sponsor's cloud hosting environment
Demonstrated experience with patch management, YUM repository configuration, and producing patch compliance reports to management
Demonstrated experience with systems health monitoring to include identification of resource (CPU, Memory, Network, and Storage) bottlenecks and developing remediation to address root cause
Demonstrated experience implementing and/or configuring encryption in-transit and at-rest to meet Sponsor's security requirements
Demonstrated experience with systems vulnerability remediation activities to include applying missing patches, disabling weak ciphers, installing sponsor-approved PKI certificates, disabling weak protocols, and providing evidence to close out vulnerability findings.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3+ years of experience.
Demonstrated experience performing Oracle/Sun Solaris 10 or Solaris 11 systems administration
Demonstrated experience with performance tuning of infrastructure components such as operating systems, application servers, or databases
Demonstrated experience with building infrastructure using API, command line interfaces (CLI's) or silent installation files
Demonstrated familiarity, either through formal training or on-the-job experience, with automated provisioning technologies such as AWS Cloud Formation, Puppet, Foreman, Ansible, or AWS bootstrapping via clout-init scripts
