CACI is seeking fully cleared, dynamic technical professionals to join our TETRA program in the Northern, Virginia area. TETRA is an Enterprise IT Program that supports and protects the IC mission. The program is a portfolio of hundreds of projects funded by numerous customers providing Engineering and Sustainment services for a Global Information Technology Enterprise. What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist, who under direction, will operate the client’s telecommunications systems and maintain message flow. As a Telecommunications Specialist, you will also provide critical services in support of the management, monitoring, and operation of a 24-hour support environment, including holidays and weekends. This position requires working on 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating working either night or day shifts for a two week period (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, and then switch to the opposite shift and repeat). The work location for this contract is a government-furnished space. All work will be performed at both on-site and off-site facilities.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Researching and analysis of telecommunications activity associated within one or more technical areas in the telecommunications center

  • Analyzing traffic reports and diagnostic reports to determine network logic and malfunction trends

  • Recommending improvements to enhance network performance trends

  • Operating the Enterprise Message System (EMS) communications systems on a 12-hour shift work schedule

  • Coordinating processes

  • Adapting as a team player on the program

  • Keeping all program documents up-to-date

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Appropriate skills and experience to operate and monitor message processing systems

  • Ability to follow the program's Configuration Management, Project Management Framework (PMF) and Quality Assurance processes

  • A solid understanding of IT systems

Education & Experience Required:

Candidate must have one of the following:

  • 6 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma

  • 4 Years of job related experience and Associate degree

  • 2-3 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 1 Year of job related experience and Master’s degree

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Former client communications officer, preferably with advanced level message systems experience with the client's legacy systems

Work Hours:

  • Core hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Day Shift)Example: Start on Monday and Tuesday day shift, off Wednesday and Thursday, and workday shift Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then, off Monday and Tuesday, workday shift Wednesday and Thursday, and off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This schedule will rotate to night shifts and repeat. Continue to rotate between day and night shifts every 14 days.
