CACI's Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Business Systems Analyst in support of the Navy Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPTE) Data Management Program. What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements. Provides advice and recommendations on process best practices. Performs analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. Works with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions. Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel. Produces functional design specifications based on user requirements. Maintains deep knowledge of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g., Alation, Experian Data Studio, Informatica Tools Oracle, PeopleSoft and Salesforce). Performs configuration and designs functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions) for specific application and third-party systems.

  • Participate in discussions with business leads, SMEs, and stakeholders to understand project scope & Business Requirements

  • Translate Business Functional requirements into Data Requirements, partnering with the data modelers to review supporting data model development

  • Build and maintain Business Requirement Documentation (BRD)

  • Profile data as needed to align with the enterprise requirements and associated governances

  • Perform high-level analysis to support application of data standards across the enterprise

  • Generate, maintain and communicate any documentation pertaining to the logical modeling process, including data format, specifications and model release details all while keeping Data Management and Data Governance in mind.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, engineering, or physical science and a minimum of two years of general experience in Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving or Business Process Improvement.

  • Requires active SECRET Clearance

  • Knowledge of Navy Personnel data and associated business rules.

  • Ability to work as a team member in a diverse group; ability to deal effectively with both Government and contracted workforce members.

  • Beginner to intermediate SQL skills.

  • Experience with analyzing and resolving discrepant data across integrated systems.

  • Analytical, detail oriented and accurate.

  • Precise, methodical and respectful of procedures.

  • Ability to integrate and analyze data to assist with informed business decisions.

  • Problem solving & insight generation skills.

  • Strong communication skills with employees at all levels including ability to translate distinct terminology differences between and for technical teams and business teams.

  • Strong relationship building skills and interfacing with stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in multiple virtual team’s specifically MS Teams.

  • Ability to execute repetitive activities if required.

Desired Qualification:

Familiarization with Data Structures and ETL Processes.

Beginner to intermediate skills using Microsoft Access, Excel, Calculations and Functions, VBA, SQL or other data analysis and web analytic tools.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$45,900 - $91,800
