CACI International Engineering Manager in National Harbor, Maryland
CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our team in the National Capital Region (NCR). CACI is providing a variety of IT services to this customer including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.What You’ll Get to Do:The Engineering Manager will be responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. The Engineering Manager will be directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation and inter-connectivity of the Client's Network and will execute the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency.
Performing System and Network Administration and System Security.
Performing and overseeing the management of Windows system administrator functions supporting an Active Directory (AD) infrastructure.
Provide senior level knowledge and Tier 3 support to the customer and their components to include Tier 3 infrastructure, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support that builds, configures, and administers several hundred servers in their area of operation.
Responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, repairing and supporting all switching and routing devices, firewalls, load balancers, alarmed carrier devices, uninterruptible power supplies, in-line network encryption devices, etc.
Configure devices in accordance with security policies. Develop and maintain IP address schemes for all assigned networks, and annually review and update the Master IP Routing Schema. Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Provide infrastructure engineering designs, builds, and escalated support to services and products
Support network engineering activities that span across multiple disciplines and platforms
Perform engineering functions found in the service design domain and provide escalated support to incident management
Support engineering efforts to design, build, test, integrate, transition, implement, document, and train when transitioned to IT Operations Management
Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization
Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following tools and technologies: Cisco hardware and OSPF, GP, MPLS, Spanning Tree, and Network Trunking Protocols
Demonstrated experience with Cisco Works, NetQos, Riverbed Steelhead, F5 load balancers, and Infoblox
Demonstrated experience coordinating activities across large scale organizations and multi-functional groups
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
BS in an Engineering Discipline
Ten (10) or more years of experience in leading the engineering and implementation of highly complex IT Projects and Programs
An appropriate mix of certifications and qualifications in IT Technologies, Agile Practices and Project Management
Proven experience with managing using Dev Ops concepts
Demonstrated Experience designing mission critical LAN/WAN/CSP infrastructure
Demonstrated technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active DoD Clearance
ITIL v3 – Foundation
Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
Experience with DHS IT security requirements
Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Exchange, Active Directory, and SharePoint
Experience with VmWare ESXi administration
Experience with managing and developing Group Policies
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE); and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred but not mandatory
