CACI International Task Order Manager- Enterprise System Administration in National Harbor, Maryland
CACI is looking for an experienced Task Order Manager with systems administration/engineering leadership experience to guide a team of up to 10 systems administrators in the 24x7x365 support of mission critical identity management applications and infrastructure. Specific areas of support include Tier II incident, problem, event and change management. Regular activities may include infrastructure health check monitoring, application troubleshooting, back-end administration of enterprise applications, review of production releases, system vulnerability management and remediation, patching, virtualization administration, certificate management, and automation of recurring tasks.
Where necessary, staff must be flexible, willing, and able to work rotating and/or non-standard work shifts, including evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The applicant shall provide technical and management oversight to a team of IT professionals operating in a 24x7x365 environment. This individual is responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring that the team meets all customer obligations to include incident, problem, event, patch and release management functions in the customer’s production environment. They are expected to drive resolution of high-severity outages and provide problem resolution for complex Infrastructure issues.
Addition responsibilities include:
Overall performance of the subject task order against the statement of work
Leverage enterprise IT technical background to guide troubleshooting and problem management of system administrators on the team as necessary
Manage staff schedules to ensure coverage for ongoing operations and surge events while meeting all SLAs
Devise policies, standard operating procedures and approval workflows for the environment
Interface with customers and other vendors for the purpose of communicating status of operations
Develop, recommend, and advance IT services to support customer mission needs
Work with program, project and engineering managers to mitigate operational and technical risks
Develop briefings, position papers and other supporting artifacts
Interview and select candidates to fulfill technical requirements
Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues.
Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterly internal training and certification standards.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while exhibiting a personable, polite and patient behavior at all times.
Supervise all staff, to include the setting of goals and providing performance guidance
Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance
DHS EOD Eligible (Active EOD preferred)
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 8 years of technical management in enterprise IT operations, system administration or systems engineering experience
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes
Proven communicator and leader. Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
Technical background to include technologies such as Windows Server, MS Active Directory, Domain Name Service, and Active Directory Federation Services, powershell, networks/network troubleshooting, identity management, and group policy
ITIL v3 certification
MCSA or MCSE
