CACI is seeking Task Order Manager (Project Management) with project management leadership experience to manage a task order supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Task Order Manager (Project Management) will be responsible for a task order providing program/project support of government IT enterprise division.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a project management team for a federal government customer. This is a people manager position therefore managing direct reports and subcontractors.

About the Role:

Serve as Task Order Manager on a team responsible for project management support and services. Responsibilities include:

  • Overall performance of the task order against the statement of work

  • Serves as the Government’s primary POC for the contract and works closely with government stakeholders to manage the task order

  • Manage staff, performance, and projects assigned to the team

  • Devise policies, standard operating procedures, and approval workflows for the team

  • Interface with customers and other vendors for the purpose of communicating status of operations and projects

  • Driving resolution of high priority issues and successfully managing projects to completion utilizing agile and waterfall project management methodologies

  • Oversees quality assurance, risk management, configuration management efforts to ensure contract deliverables meet requirements

  • Direct and mentor employees; mitigate operational and technical risks

  • Conduct performance evaluations of program staff

  • Develop briefings, position papers and other supporting artifacts

  • Employ strong communication skills to direct skilled technical / programmatic resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review program documents

  • Ensures the timely recruitment and training of task order staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DHS EOD Suitability Clearance (Active EOD preferred)

  • BA/BS or equivalent and 6 years in a related field with supervisory or management experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • ITIL Foundation certification (or must obtain within first 6 months)

  • Proven communicator and leader

  • Previous experience managing a similar sized IT program or team providing project management services

  • Working technical knowledge of cloud/systems/network administration and engineering in an enterprise environment

  • Must have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource forecasting and allocation, deliverable tracking, schedule monitoring, risk management, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous DHS or DoD experience

  • The following certifications is highly desired:

  • Any technical certifications

  • ITIL Foundation

  • Knowledgeable of Problem Management best practice and processes
