What You'll Get to Do:
In this position you will oversee technical resources delivering services across various parts of the ServiceNow platform including (but not limited to) ITSM, ITBM and ITOM. As the Technical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping to create solutions with our DHS customer while providing oversight, direction and project management for multiple projects of varying degrees of complexity.
More About the Role:
Work with a team of ServiceNow developers and a business analyst
Provide design, planning, implementation and development support across the ServiceNow platform
Manage a critical project, serving as a project manager/scrum master for software development
Ensure DHS defined project governance standards are implemented and adhered to for each project
Directly interface with end-users, stakeholders and process owners, helping to document desired business outcomes, matching proposed solutions and verifying that project objectives are fulfilled
Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including monitoring progress and identifying roadblocks, mitigating any risk to the client
Provide hands-on leadership to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
Ensure that all architectural artifacts and deliverables in the responsibility areas are developed to the highest quality standards
Support Organizational Change Management and Continual Service Improvement initiatives
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to attain DHS EOD
BA + 6 years’ applicable experience, AA + 12 years’ applicable experience, MA + 7 years applicable experience or 16 years’ experience
Experience leading technical projects working with a team of technical resources
4+ years of technical Project Management experience
Ability to interface with team members at all levels, including business operations, technology, and management
Experience working with US Federal Government customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile (PMI-ACP or IAPM) Certified
Certified ServiceNow Application Developer, Implementer, or System Administrator certification is highly desired
Experience with the ServiceNow Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) application
