What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Web Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional graphics, icons and other digital multi-media for external facing government websites. In this role you will support customer stakeholders, project managers, content strategists, and developers with creative ideas for re-designing the web-site and contributing to web design decisions.
More About the Role:
Develop graphics, icons, mockups, and other digital multimedia as needed, utilizing expertise developing creative and engaging web designs.
Collaborate with product managers, content teams and developers, illustrating design ideas using storyboards/mockups, working closely with content strategist to provide the best user experience, designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets, creating illustrations and icons, sourcing photo and video, site branding.
Create multiple versions of website mockups and designs
Provide compelling graphics needed for the organization with a specific focus in supporting the freshness, effectiveness, and usability of websites.
Develop custom images, icons, and related media to enhance visual representation to meet customer objectives
Work collaboratively with other digital engagement team members to develop a consistent plan that shall meet the customers’ needs
Follow all relevant style guides, design standards and other required practices
Ensuring site aesthetic is customer Style Guide compliant.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
5 Years Applicable Experience or AA or BA
Proficient with Illustration, Iconography, Infographics, Page layout, Adobe Suite
