CACI is seeking a Shipbuilding Waterfront Logistics Manager to support the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) lead during the acquisition, construction, and delivery of the NOAA AGOR Variant (NAV) vessel.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide direct support to the Government Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager on all areas of ILS as required by the Shipbuilding contract.
Coordinate, review, provide comments, and consolidate logistics and engineering input on the shipbuilder’s Technical Manual (TM) and Vendor Recommended Spares (VRS) submissions for compliance with contract requirements.
Monitor the status of the Shipbuilder's TM and VRS submissions including the review, analysis and comments on the submissions in accordance with approved submission schedules.
Consolidate and review approved VRS listings to determine content and timing of spares buy lists.
Assist in the review and analysis of configuration documentation such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), deviations, and waivers for logistics impact.
Review and analyze the shipbuilder’s purchase orders, purchase specifications and purchase order index for logistics impact on schedule, configuration, etc.
Review, provide comments on the Shipbuilder’s Configuration Database Listing (CDBL) submissions.
Review, comment, and consolidate the Shipbuilder’s crew familiarization submittals, i.e. Crew Familiarization Plan, Instructor Guides, Student Guides.
Provide on-site support during Crew Familiarization sessions.
Perform individual and joint Government/Shipbuilder equipment sight validations and reconcile findings with the CDBL.
Participate in shipboard support needs such as: Equipment and spares Validations and Load-Out requirements.
Job entails a mix of work in office and shipboard environments, in shipyard areas of construction, and the warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to fully understand and effectively use source documents: engineering drawings, change orders, OEM/MFG drawings, etc.
Some experience and overall understanding of Navy logistics processes.
High level of proficiency and experience with: MS office software products – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
Ability to effectively develop meeting minutes and action items
Aptitude to quickly learn, fully understand, and effectively use: OEM/MFG vendor websites, Haystack/HIS, Logiquest and NSN research tools.
Possess active Secret security clearance.
