We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized software developer to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and development for commercial off-the-shelf software, government off-the-shelf software, and other software being developed in support of the Performance Assessment department.

What You’ll Get to Do:

In this position, you will provide support to the Navy (PA22) by facilitating secure and efficient information access, enhancing user experiences, and ensuring data integrity. You'll be responsible for integrating Blazor components into a content management system and building dynamic web pages, leveraging proficiency in Blazor, Web Forms, and WebAssembly. You'll also utilize DevExpress components for software component development and user interface enhancements, along with XPO Data Objects for database-related tasks. Proficiency in PostgreSQL is crucial when using it as a data source provider. Your tasks will include web development using ASP.NET , building web applications and services, and possibly integrating React components. Your work will contribute to the development of software products that enhance Navy operations, with a focus on security standards, federated authentication, and effective documentation. A strong command of C# programming language is essential for success in this role. A background in computer science and familiarity with COMPTIA Security are highly beneficial. This position plays a vital role in delivering robust software solutions that empower Navy personnel and ensure data security.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

5 years’ experience with the following:

  • Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, from design to maintenance, is important for successful project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of security standards and best practices, including SSL/TLS encryption, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and secure token exchange.

  • Knowledge of configuring and integrating with various identity providers like Microsoft Azure AD, KeyCloak, or custom IdPs.

  • Ability to integrate federated authentication services with RESTful APIs, web services, and application backends.

  • Understanding of IAM concepts and practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions management.

  • Effective documentation skills to create clear and comprehensive documentation for configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of federated authentication services.

  • A strong command of C# programming language is essential for developing and maintaining software using .NET technologies.

  • Must be a US Citizen

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in Blazor WebAssembly is necessary for integrating Blazor components into a content management system and building dynamic web pages.

  • Familiarity with Web Forms.

  • Competence in using DevExpress components is essential for developing software components and user interfaces.

  • Understanding XPO Data Objects is crucial for database-related tasks and data manipulation in .NET applications.

  • Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL is necessary when using it as a data source provider, such as Npgsql Admin 4

  • A strong grasp of ASP.NET is required for web development tasks, including building web applications and web services.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$53,100.00 - $106,300.00
