Job Description
What You’ll Get to Do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Junior Desktop Developer in support of the U.S. Navy —Naval Surface Weapons Center (Corona) ARPA-IT contract. This position will support the Analysis Applications Branch. The individuals selected for this position will be part of a team supporting multi-platform desktop applications implemented in C++, Python and Java.More About the Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintains, creates, and modifies software tools for Analysis Application Branch
Takes user requirements and generates functional specifications
Converts project requirements into code
Ensures development is done adhering to coding/development standards
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent) plus a minimum of two years of software development experience
or
·AA degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science plus a minimum of four years of software development experience
or
·Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) plus a minimum of four years of software development experience
Java Programming experience
Experience using Git and Atlassian software
8+ years of experience developing full stack applications using C++ in an object-oriented environment
